Think you’ve got a crazy business idea? I bet it’s not as wild as figuring out how to wear t-shirts for a living or selling your last name. Yep, you read that correctly. If you still believe that building a business doing what you love to do is impossible, then you must watch this interview I had the pleasure of doing with Jason SurfrApp (formerly Jason Sadler and Jason Headsetsdotcom). He shares insights on the twists and turns of being an entrepreneur and we touch on his new book Creativity For Sale featuring stories about how he and other business are building businesses doing what they love.
I started following Jason SurfrApp back in 2008 (when he was still Jason Sadler) when he started his business iwearyourshirt.com. It has been a blast watching him build his business and start new ventures along the way. Like a true entrepreneur, he has had to adjust his business model, try new things and continute to be innovative every step of the way.
I had the opportunity to meet Jason in 2012 when he spoke at the American Marketing Association South Florida Chapter. One of the things I appreciate most about Jason is how transparent he is with his companies. He shares so much valuable information with his community in such an honest way that even before meeting him in person I felt like we were friends. When I speak to groups about marketing, Jason’s story is one that I typically can’t help but share. I was thrilled when he agreed to do an interview with me and hope that you find the information valuable. Check it out!
I hope you enjoyed watching this interview as much as I loved being part of it. And if you aren’t doing what you love, it’s time to check out Jason’s book, Creativity for Sale and be sure to get your copy when it comes out!
I’d love to hear what you thought of the interview. What was your favorite part? Comment below and let me know what you think!
